It began as Spirit Peace, which rebirthed into The Krystal Phoenix. It began as a solution to an increasing rock collection combined with moving to a very small cabin. I realized, "What better way to enjoy my rocks than to sell them?" I started putting up a table at the Symes Hot Springs Hotel and Mineral Baths. Weekend after weekend, I set up my rocks and then I became "The Rock Lady".
An empty house adjacent to the cabin rental became the next location for Spirit Peace. The house needed refurbished, but the pink parachute draped across a ceiling of twinkly lights created an ambient facade. We had a grand opening and was open for 5 weeks until we realized we could purchase property on Main Street. 206 Main Street went through many faces of transformation before blossoming into the beautiful Hot Springs Montana retail that is bustling today. |

Kelly Pedersen, also known as Moon Eagle, is the rock lady of the The Krystal Phoenix. She is a ThetaHealing Practitioner, Isis High Preistess and student of the Montana Center for Psychic Studies in Missoula, MT. In addition, she graduated from CSU, Sacramento with a combined double major of Government-Journalism. Kelly interned with Friends of the River Lobbying firm out of Sacramento. She made her way to Hot Springs, MT by way of Fallbrook, CA and Palm Desert, CA as a substitute teacher, to Glacier Park as a raft guide for Wild River Adventures, to a travel writing job as a SEO/Content Writer for National Park Reservations in Whitefish, MT. It was during her time in Whitefish that she became acquainted with Hot Springs, Montana and started visiting every weekend that she could.
